Who these terms are with

Snaparo is published by Diomo Enterprise S.R.L., trading as Diomo, registered in Romania (CUI 45514206, Reg. Com. J40/1066/2022, VAT RO45514206), with its registered office at Strada Învingătorilor, Nr. 9-11, Et. 2, Ap. 27, București, Sector 3. In this document "we" and "us" mean that company, and "you" means the person using the app.

By installing or using Snaparo you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, uninstall the app.

Your licence to use the app

We give you a personal, non exclusive, non transferable licence to install and use Snaparo on devices you own or control, for as long as you follow these terms. You do not own the app itself, and buying premium buys a licence, not the software.

You may not sell, rent or sublicense the app, and you may not decompile or reverse engineer it except where Romanian or EU law says you may regardless of what this document says.

Your documents are yours

Everything you create with Snaparo belongs to you. We claim no licence over it and no right to use it. As set out in the privacy policy, it never reaches us, because it stays in the app's private storage on your device.

That also means the backups are your responsibility. If you lose the phone, reset it, or uninstall the app, we cannot recover anything for you, because we never had a copy. Export what matters to you.

How you may use it

Use Snaparo lawfully. Do not use it to copy documents you have no right to copy, and do not use it to break the law of the country you are in. What you scan and what you do with it is your responsibility.

Purchases, refunds and cancellation

Premium is sold through Google Play, and Google is the merchant of record. That means the payment, the invoice and the refund all go through Google, not through us.

• The price shown in the app at the moment of purchase is the price that applies.
• Premium is a one time unlock tied to your Google account. Restoring it on a new device is one tap, at no extra cost.
• Refunds follow the Google Play refund policy. Start a refund in Google Play, not with us. If Play sends you to us, write to contact@diomo.app and we will help.
• If you are a consumer in the EU, your statutory rights, including the right of withdrawal where it applies, are not affected by anything in this document.

The free version

The free version of Snaparo stays free. We do not add a cap later to something the store listing described as free. If a genuinely new capability is built, it may be premium, but what was free stays free.

No warranty

Snaparo is provided as it is. We build it carefully and use it ourselves, but we do not warrant that it is free of defects, that text recognition is accurate, or that it will suit a particular purpose. Recognised text can be wrong, so check anything that matters before relying on it.

Nothing here excludes a warranty that Romanian or EU consumer law does not allow us to exclude.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost data, lost profits, or indirect or consequential loss arising from using the app. Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to what you paid us for Snaparo in the twelve months before the claim, which for a free user is zero.

This does not limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

Third party services

Snaparo uses Google Play for distribution and payment, RevenueCat to validate purchases, and Google ML Kit and Tesseract components for text recognition. Your use of Google Play is also governed by Google's terms. We are not responsible for those services, only for our own app.

Changes to the app and to these terms

We may update the app, and we may update these terms. When we change these terms, the date at the top changes. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the new version. A change that materially reduces what you get will be flagged in the app, not made quietly here.

We may also stop publishing Snaparo one day. If that happens, the copy on your device keeps working, and the promise that everything is stored locally is what makes that true.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Romanian law. Disputes go to the competent courts of Romania. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the EU, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory law of your own country, and you may bring proceedings there.
